Default Side pipes install ......

Received my OBX sidepipes from Danny Wong and mounting kit from Summitt. Started the install and finished the drivers side yesterday. Going really well so far. Will do the other side today. Want to thank Clubby and Boston Camaro and all the others for the information in previous threads. They were "right on" with all the details and a tremendous help to my confidence . Also had my Torque Thrust II wheels installed Saturday. Will post pictures when I finish. Snowing outside and the garage looks like a bomb went off in it ...... I also have the OBX...love everything about them. Good luck with the rest of your install.

You get the ones with the resonator?

If so is it welded in or does it slide in/out like the hooker one?

I have the catted version. Not sure what that means, but there is some type restriction inside to make them quieter. They are tack welded in place from the inside. I have read threads that imply they can come out but it don't look easy. I will leave them in ..... I need to keep what little hearing I have left.

catted=mufflers....same type of baffles that Hookers and others come with

it is not cats, as in meow meow felines or catalytic converters

I am running iron vortec heads on a 350HO .... calls for a 43 or 44LTS plug. Is that going to conflict with the headers? Haven't put them in yet. Had headers before and had to run shorties .... They were too cold. Need the length on the LTS. Using 90 degree boots and might be able to use a heat shield.
