CURIOUS:
Anyone own ? or know the whereabouts of this car ?
This car in the very late 80's / was nearly totaled & sold to a bodyshop in Massachusetts who was going to repair & resell it. It was an all stock, very clean 4 spd car painted a very dark burgandy / maroon color it was registered in the state of Florida.
For all i know the previous owner said its an old L-48, and most stuff on the car is exchanged for track purposed stuff so its not original anyway. So i havent had that interest before.

Check your registration / insurance cards, title, uncertain where near the widshield a 76 vin is listed, but on my 68 it's on the vertical pillar post drivers side.
Is your car a burgandy 4spd ? Did the car com from Massachusetts or buy the car near there ?

Originally painted red on the exterior, i suspect the interior was red as well. The car was registrated in North Carolina during the beginning of the eighties, dont know if it was sold new there. I will save that vin-number you are looking for, and take a look on my car. If it turns out to be the same, i could always PM you.
EDIT: If i recall correctly, the previous owner said it was a 4spd originally. Now there is a Doug Nash 5spd in it.

Someone did a thread a while back trying to collect all of the 76 VIN's (at least I think it was 76 because I posted mine) with owners on the forum. You might look for that.
