Glad to hear you got it home safe. I'm going to be spending about a month in Florida with some relatives, and I really wanted to bring the vette down with me. I live in Massachusetts and I've gotten a few quotes for shipping and its around $700.

I couldn't believe it. Might be worth it though, nothing would beat that.

I load my tractor on a flat bed with a 38" high deck. Wont fit on my car trailer as the ramps are too wide for the front tires. I use a 6' ramp to load it. I put work ramps under the rear tires of the truck and it drops the rear of the trailer way down.

I didn't find that there was much weight difference, luckily I only had a 45 minute drive to the body shop and it towed fine backwards

Well, I lied. I do have one picture of us trailering the corvette. I'll tell ya, I wasn't expecting all the people beeping and waving as they passed us.
