Default Replacing antenna
Tired of having to replace the antenna every 5 years or so. Can I just unscrew the current mast and put another mast in place, leaving the motor, etc. as is?

The problem is likely to be the cable which raises and lowers the antenna. You can get a repair kit.

if it is in fact a 'factory' antenna.
If you've replaced it every five years or so can't be sure what it is.
Some of the aftermarket ones are pretty cheap!
