I have been contemplating the same myself. My kids are getting older and want to cruise with dad. Something with a backseat so the whole family can go. A '68 - '69 Chevelle SS would work for me but it would be hard to get rid of "the mistress" .
At least you guys are thinking of keeping it in the Chevy family.... BLAIR - say it isn't so!!! I guess I'm further along in the family lifecycle than you guys are. I didn't buy my first C3 until 2 years ago. I have 3 kids in college, and own 2 C3s. I'm going to buy a 3rd so all will have something to remember dear old dad from. Nothing like watching your son/daughter drive a C3!!!
Do you now feel like stteve Martin in the movie "the jerk"-wandering around now with just his golf cart. lop. Don't want to ever have to feel that feeling of watching someone else drive off with my hard work.
I must admit that I too have thought about selling my vette but then...... my better judgement gets a hold of me and i just say what are you nuts ..... I would miss my car too much. the only I would sell mine is when I am done (lol) with my car and would look for a new project (another C3).
