Clean... Crisp... Extremely sharp. Way over budget or not, I'm sure it was worth it. Absolutely fantastic looking ride.

I'm jealous. You're done. I'm elbow deep in redyed plastic pieces, piling up in my office until reinstall.

Great work. Great car.

Default park brake console replacement

Did you get your brake console from Willcox? I won't go into details on how trying to clean up mine I completely ruined it, but needless to say I need a new one. I've seen some that look like complete thin plastic crap and that has me worried. Worried enough to be thinking maybe I should just keep mine rather than have such an obviously cheap piece of plastic there.

I'd appreciate any feedback you have on that. Yours looks great. I can't wait until I get mine back together this Spring. I had the car basically a week before I tore out the interior and it hasn't been back in since then in August 2010.

Still curious as to what you thought of the quality of the repro part? How does it compare with your original? Does it feel like the same type of quality or does it feel thin and cheap?

Does the simulated grain of the repro match up well with the original?

Yes, Ret.Horsecop13. Your opinion, please. The pros & cons of the repro interior parts.

I thought the quality was excellent. It matched up very well to the original. The guy who did my carpet and seats actually asked me where I got it from. He thought it was one of the better ones that he has seen. He said he has seen ones that dimple on the top from the screws that are attached to the underside of it. Not thin or cheap looking at all. So two thumbs up for the Willcox console!
