I would like to change over to autometer or some other type gauges in my 73 are they the same sizes before I go messing around with my stock ones? Thanks Skip

2 1/16" Autometers slide in the gauge bezel perfectly

JC,
Are the rear bezels available from places like Summit or Jegs? I bought all of the gauges but I believe the bezels would offer a better fit (by the looks of your setup). Thanks.

Terry, saying "rear" bezels, do you mean behind the gauge bezel on the back of the gauges? If so, I made my own.

I used the stock set up and the mount rings rested against it just fine. The thing that you loose is the bulb holders for the warning lights so I did a make shift tape job to hold them in place but half of them don't work anyway so it wasn't a big deal

One thing I installed later was the autometer dimmer switch since the Sport Comp II's have led lights that are really bright but with the dimmer you can calm them down to just a little brighter than the factory speedo and tach.

Since I had to replace my dash peice anyway I went ahead and changed over to the 2 5/8 gauges. I made a plate and that covered the whole face of it. The warning lights didn't work anyway so out with the old and in with the new. Changed out the speedo and tach with the 5" monster ones to.
