Got an escort today...
Cruising up NC Hwy 14 today and passed the local PD.
Looked down..55 ..its all good.
Then they pull out and follow me to my turn off.
Retired last year and at first, I thought that it was an old friend.
Checked the mirror and saw couple of youthful faces .
I just suppose they hadn't seen a C3 lately..
Felt kinda Presidential getting such a fine escort.

I get that "escort" alot around here since I retired. They usually give the siren a blip or put the blue lights on. I usually give them a friendly 1 finger salute One of these days it will be one of the newer guys that doesn't know me.

I find most cops are pretty cool, but have a job to do of maintaining a presense. I look pretty young(but not), and got pulled over a few times driving my new C6 ZO6. They just wanted to check things out, and no big deal to me. I know a few cops, and are sometimes directed to do this, with lot's of high visibilty flashing lights.
