Seat Belts
Hey Guys - my 69 coupe does not have the " Custom Shoulder Belt" option. Forgive me if this is a dumb question but is this something that can be retro fitted and installed?

Yes. The assembly instruction manual (AIM) has diagrams of all parts installed by assembly line workers, including all the optional equipment. You will also find assembly line notes and original GM part numbers in the AIM.
If you want to add the shoulder belts, my advice would be to purchase the AIM, take a look at the factory installation, put your parts list together, then start the hunt for parts.
Now the bad news: shoulder belts were standard in the 69 coupes -- all of them got the belts. A PO must have removed your original pair. The A85 option was only for convertibles.

Thanks Mike. I do have the AIM and will start there. I knew the A85 was an option but did not know for convertibles only.
