Default My new "toy"!

http://s1109.photobucket.com/albums/...81%20Corvette/

Here's my 1981 Corvette that I just purchased. I took all of the brake components off when I got her home as she had a low pedal when I bought her. I figured I would eliminate the problem with new parts. The power booster was not very fun to replace. I just bought a used crate motor to put in her too. My wife has a 2008 and wouldn't let me modify it so I bought my own "toy". I've been building cars and engines since I was 16 and I'm now 54. I've been on the C6 forum for a couple of years. I've already been posting here on the C3 forum. I'll need more advice from you guys in the future. I look forward to being a part of your forum.

Sounds like you are well in control, welcome to the C3 gang, have some fun with the older vettes, at least they are easier to work on than those new computers on wheels.

I used to have a mean street driven big block Chevelle. A friend coined the nick name "Street Rat" and it stuck. The car does have a black interior yes.

That's a great looking car you have there. That body style looks great in back on black. Since your wife wouldn't let you modify the C6 and you already have a crate motor for this car is it possible that you will not be keeping this car "all stock"?

Not unless you have an aluminum big block you're taking out that you're looking to let go CHEAP.
