Default review mirror

This is going to sound really dumb. But where does the review mirror go on the windshield or the header molding . My car was dissasembled when i got it. Never seen these parts before. Every other car had a flat piece that glued to the windshield. Thanks, Mr. Dumb ***

I believe up to 76 they mount to the header bar, then from 77 on they were stuck to the windshield

Get an AIM instruction manual for your year, it will give you everthing you need to know.
The mirrors are mounted to a bracket on the header upper frame of the windshield, here is a pic of the bracket.

There is nothing dumb about asking how parts go together, especially if you have never seen them together! However, if you think that that mirror on the windshield of cars is called a "review" mirror, well, I just don't know what to say about that. I mean, I guess I can kinda understand how "rear view" might sound a little like "review", but still.......wow........

I agree with getting your hands on an AIM, they are invaluable, especially when dealing with a basket case, like you are. Good luck,

Keep the shiny side up!
