Only going by what the ad says, do you think that it is a good price? I have read mixed reviews about the 400 sbc about cooling issues. If everything is in good order what should I offer the guy? $11500-$13000? First time to buy a vette and have learned alot from other posts, glad you guys are here. Thanks in advance Adam

In that Dallas/Ft Worth area, there is a big, maybe a couple Corvette clubs, do a search, send an email to one of them or call them and ask if and how much one of them would charge (2 cases of beer??) to go look at the Corvette with you. Will need to get the Corvette up on jacks, or lift to check out underneath too.
Good luck and half the fun is looking, hope this helps. Shop around, I think it is still a buyers market and as always cash is king!
Not for me, but I'm not buying. Looks like a nice car, but has a replacement engine. The only question here is whether you want this Corvette and the changes made to it.
Will need paint work on at least the front bumper and that's not cheap if you can't do it yourself. I would need many more photos before I'd consider it at that price.
