Starter contact with flywheel
I'm installing a mini starter form an R motor truck for the 90's. I bolted it up and went to check clearance to see if I need a shim. Before I even got around to measuring any gap, I checked the alignment of the gears. Well, it doesn't look like my gear contacts the flywheel enough. I know a lot of people are using these starters.
Is this normal contact for this starter? Am I going to have a problem?
