I just bought an 80 on E Bay and need it shipped. Any recommendations
And yes I do have a budget, and I am not going to fly and then drive the car home. First off I don't know the car and second off it would probably cost more.
If the cars in the south - warm climate - and you are anxious to get it ASAP, this is the worse time of year to ship a car, as snowbirds are sending their cars back to the north. I hired Thomas Sunday to bring my car from GA to NJ, they quoted me 3-days and it took 6 weeks. Depending on distance, there is a carrier near Trenton NJ and he has single car enclosed trailers instead of the Multi-car carriers.

Thats how it goes for me, a dollar short or a day late. Nothing goes easy.
Just shipped my 73 from upstate NY to lower Delaware using Passport Transport(FedEx). With 10% off because I have Hagerty insurance, it was the cheapest carrier. Great service using an enclosed carrier. No damage. Very professional. Would use them again.
Try Specialty Mobile Carriers in Madison, OH. Used the a couple of year ago to ship a 2003 Vert from Chicago to Buffalo, NY. Price was competitive, and service was excellent!
I'd Check this site out. http://www.vehicleshippingrates.com/...shipping-info/. They helped me to get a pretty good rate from a dependable shipping company on my move to Cali. They seemed way more responsive than any of the other companies i got quotes from.
