Default fuel line fitting help

Hi, everybody!
This is probably going to sound really dumb to anybody who knows, but I am looking for a part and can't find it, so here goes nothing. I am designing a fuel line for my 'vette, and I need a brass tee, 5/8" x 18, female. Same thing as the two tees on a tri-power setup, if they are 5/8" x 18. I have spent the last hour trying to find a site on the internet where I can order one, but none are to be found. It's weird. Maybe chevy used them all up back in the '60s on the tri-power cars, and nobody ever bothered to make any more of them. Anyway, does anybody know where I can get one? This is ridiculous!!!!

the tri power 'T`s are 3/8 inverted flare fittings....even a hardware store should carry them or a good local parts store....

Yeah, it's a 3/8" fuel line, so the male thread is 5/8" x 18, that's what I'm looking for, and yeah, it sure seems like the kind of thing that any place that even pretends to be hardware oriented would have, but I cannot find one!!!!! I'm gonna have to take a drive down to the NAPA, I guess, they usually have stuff like that, but no mention of it on their website!

OK, I know I'm just digging myself deeper into the stupid hole, but how can I tell if this is the right fitting? It sure looks like what I need, but how do I know if it has the 5/8" x 18 thread? It doesn't say that anywhere. Is it just assumed by people who use these types of fittings that an inverted flare fitting for a 3/8" tube uses that size?

A group called SAE got together and standardized a bunch of things. too bad it wasn't everything., but they are still trying.
But most of this stuff from different manufacturers will fit together.
It's similar to oil filters, they don't tell you the size of thread, micron filtration, burst pressure etc, but if you look up a cross reference, it will work.

Save this catalog. Look at page 31
Once you get this number, all others will cross to it.

I went down to my local NAPA today, and they looked me like I had two heads. They had a block that looked wxactly like what I need, but it was a pipe thread fitting. I thought something like this would be easy to find, but I guess not. Noonie, I'll check out that catalog, thaks for the heads-up.

McMasterCarr is a great website to have bookmarked when looking for miscellaneous parts.
Good luck

Thanks, Noonie! Found it on page 37, and ordered it. Cost: $6.47. Shipping: $8.81. It's a bitch, ain't it?

Not sure what you're talking about, but 3/8" line, 5/8" x 18 inverted flare fitting is what I'm looking for, I sure hope I didn't order the wrong thing.
