Its a 4 spd, L82 and it sounds sweet. nice rumble when your sitting at the lights. Not as loud as I feared, I can still have a conversation while driving. They are Stainless Steel, paid extra but couldn't wait for OBX. I have the Glasspak inserts, nice deep sound. Gearing down it sounds awesome.

I always wanted to know what a pair of Hookers sidepipe would look like on my '78.
My dream car when i was kid(back in the'80's) was this one. I probably look at that picture a million times. The only thing missing to achieve my dream is the pipes and the girl. The pipes would probably be easier to get than the girl so i will have to concentrate to get a set of pipes like yours. The pipes (30+ years) after will probably look better than the girl now.
