So are you planning to run just the two back speakers or did you replace the kick panel ones as well? Sorry for the million questions, just trying to figure this out as I finish the mechanical repairs.

Yes, just the rear....I see absolutely no reason for fronts....these are going to be like having on headphones......the only speakers in the car originally were the dash pod speakers.........
This is what are car looks like and I am like you....I really don't want to change it....it's not Top Flight or Gold Certifiable but it deserves to be left a survivor car..........
I found it on corvette central as well. Interesting as I wonder how they hid the Ipod jack on the front. I might have to follow your set up. I think it will be the closest I can come to looking totally stock and having music I can hear with the tops off.
You can get new internals for your original radio.....including an Ipod jack...for $600.00!
I'll just put my original in a box for the next owner if there ever is one.........

LOTS of places carry that radio....I wish I would have ordered it from ZIP......but either way they are still on back order for EVERYONE.......maybe shipping the end of the month....can't wait to finish this project.
