C3 hood pins
My heavily modified 1971 has aftermarket hood, which has a tendency to pop up while driving, no matter of all attempts to adjust the locks.
Has anyone tried hood pins? Are there any threads about that with pics? I was not able to find any... Thanks!

If you want them even with one another you'll have to fabricate a different mount for the drivers side which I have seen in person with another forum members '74 but I don't think he has any photos posted.

I use hood pins, and like them.
It's true, they do now exactly line up with each other but I checked, and they didn't with the old racers either.
I don't think anyone else has noticed.

I am thinking of going this route:
http://www.q-latch.com/
I know some others on here used them too.
I figure to use the mini's
- Quik-Latch Mini (x2)
- Quik-Latch Fastener Bucket (x2)
about $60 total from Jegs

I went with hood pins when I reverse hinged my hood, hinged from cowl now, and the front is held down with pins....
up and over air induction is why...
