Memory Lane........
Was just looking at some tickets from working on the 73 and came across one of my first projects......It's a 454 and they are notorious for overheating...
If we had to set at a stop light, the dang thing would start boiling over.....no choice, had to put in a new radiator.....didn't even know there was a corvette forum.
I could have been aggravating some of you for 7 years.
Anyhow, I put in a Dewitt Direct Fit and it has not ever, even when driving in over 100 degree temps and sitting at stop lights in town, gotten over 190 degrees. I was, and still am amazed at what a terrific job this radiator does......still has the mechanical fan, I thought we might have to put on electric. I believe one of the things that add longevity to your engine is running cool.....and I believe in the Dewitt aluminum radiator to get that job done...........
