Default 80 kick panels
The kick panels came with rug on them. Are all the 80's like that. I really don't like the rug on them.

All 78-82 Corvettes came with carpeted kick panels. Prior to that they were painted to match the interior color.

The ones I have seen from the vendors have no carpet.

I didn't like the carpet on them either, so I made fiberglass pods to hold speakers.

The repro kick panels don't come with the carpet on them. You either re-use the carpet from your old panels, or use the kick panel carpet pieces that come with all new carpet sets.

That is of course, if you want to have carpeted kick panels.
