Electrical question
I am changing over to Autometer gauges and all of them use an ignition, ground and sender wire except my oil pressure gauge and clock. My question is can I tie all 3 ground wires togther and do the same with the ignition wires and only use 1 wire for each or should I use a seperate wire for each gauge

The grounds all go to the same place- battery ground. Same with the ignition- what they're looking for is power (+12v). the sender wires are, in most cases, what I would call a floating ground- the more temp or pressure, the more resistance, and the higher scale reading on the gauge. That may be backwards, but it gets the idea across.
Hook all the power wires together and use the original gauges fuse that's already on the iginition, and give them all a good ground. You can also use the instrument lamps wire for the lights in the gauges.
