4 Speed shifter ball replacement.
Can I get a Hurst shifter ball to fit my stock 4 speed shifter on my 80. Can I get a t handle to work. What is the thread size on the shifter.

Don't know the thread size off hand, but all you would have to do is drill and tap the Hurst ball to fit the stock handle. They have a metal insert in them though so it would be a little tricky.
I did the exact opposite on mine; I cut off the end of a bolt that was the same thread pitch as the stock handle, drilled and tapped it down its center to fit the threads on my Hurst stick, screwed it into a stock ball, and put that onto my Hurst shifter...
