Wow. I hate you.
J/K naturally. Both good looking cars by themselves but when you put them together they really compliment each other. The beautiful lines of the 'vette are contrasted by the brutal presence of the Chevelle.
That would be a fun combination of cars to have, and they are both really sharp.

Thanks Brent..... Very well said. And, I hate you too.....you live in IOWA land of the GIANT whitetails......can I come hunt with you?

Beautiful rides!!! My first car ever was a '68 Chevelle, 327, Powerglide, Black vinyl top... My parents loved the day when I rebuilt the engine, added headers, cherry bombs and centerlines... Man, I loved that car... Your '69 looks like a beast!!!

Rogman
Thank you........the Chevelle is host to a FULL ROLLER 427CID and has the "girdles" 750 Double pumping Holley 4 barrel , Hooker Headers, Pink Rods, Steel Crank, 4 Bolt main, Edelbrock intake, Square port Hi Perf Stamped on the GM heads, 400 turbo auto with a 2500 stall converter and a shift kit...... went from 4:11 gears to 3:73s to finally putting in 3:08s.....gets much better gas mileage and more streetable.
Haven't had it on a dyno but it has to be pushing 425 hp and I've also down sized the cam twice(sorry don't remember the lift and duration) and did away with the solid rollers and put in hydraulic rollers.....
MSD Ignition.......and I think that's it.
I can't wait to get sidepipes on it.....the car will have everything growing up that I always wanted in a car...
Horse shoe shifter...hood pins....Z--stripes....Vinyl top..Big Block... and Side Pipes! Oh yeah.....ET mags.
Thanks yeller... I really was just taking a photo op with my new Nikon camera my wife bought me for our 35th wedding anniversary......it does take great pics.
This post was like a look into my early life. I had the Yellow Chevelle and the Red Corvette. Not at the same time, but had them both. We must have similar taste in cars.
Too hard to to pick a favorite. I wouldn't kick either one out of the hay!
Nice cars. I've always been a Chevelle guy and very rarely have I been caught without one over the years. I've had 5 '69's and a '68. I presently have a '64 SS I'm working on.
Love it! I have a 73 convertible vette and a 69 ElCamino. Both cars have 4 spds. The ElCamino is more fun to drive because it's a little more radicle. The LS4 vette is a bone stock car. You just got to love old Chevys.
