You know, which documents is a complete Factory Paperwork for a 1980 Corvette (L48)?

There is a section at the front of the assembly instruction manual (AIM) will lists everything which was shipped with the car from the factory and where it was to be placed.

You could also look for the original Corvette order copy; window sticker; dealer invoice, etc.

Go here: http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/...x.php?cmd=area and see if you can obtain a copy of the original dealer invoice for your car.

As stated above, the Assembly Instruction Manual (A.I.M.) is a very useful document.

Are you looking for a list of the glove box contents? If so, there was an Owner's Manual, consumer information booklet, tire owners guide & guarantee folder, maintenance folder, vehicle & emissions warranty folder, and an ETR radio manual (if equipped).

If you are looking for the build sheet (tank sticker) then that document, if still there, will be glued to the front of the gas tank. The build sheet lists all the Regular Production Option Codes (RPO Codes) as well as other production information.

A copy of the Dealer Shipping Document is available for 1977 and forward Corvettes from the GM Archives. It lists original dealer, shipping date, RPO codes, etc. - very much the same information as is on the tank sticker.

If you are looking for the Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association (MVMA) technical specifications for your year car, then they are available as part of the GM Heritage Center package (pdf). That pdf also contains dealer salesman information for your year car. The document (pdf) is available at:

Click on the link, scroll down the page to "Corvette" and click on "Show". A new page will open that lists the data packages available for various year Corvettes. Select the year - "1980" - in your case. Accept the usage agreement and a pdf will download.
