Just curious - Is there such a thing as a '67 - '68 center cap??? I believe they DID NOT have a slight ridge on the dish (see pics). The majority of the caps out there have the slight raised ridge ('69 and up). AM I wrong??? Thanks - BK3
Rubbing my finger over the area (indicated by the red pencil) it is smooth. I have other OEM center cap assemblies which have the raised ridge - a definite difference.

Are you refering to the outter rim ? there is a "step up" on the inner part . These are oem 77 ones . A little dusty but you can see smooth to the top line then inside you can see the step up
I went out and checked mine on the '73. Three of the four have the ridge, the fourth is smooth. I know that one of the four caps is not original, but it's not this one. Possibly GM had two vendors?
I've got a few of these around. The four that were on the car are smooth, 2 others have that little bump on the outside.
I have some vague memory of reading something somewhere that GM did have a few suppliers (these did come on a lot of GM product for quite a few years) and that there were very slightly different on the flanges.
Seems to me the cast center part was the same though.
