I'd have to spend a day taking pics. I have to spend some time at my spot. Watched them restore a set of seats this morning. The guy next to me has a C4 for sale with 44,000 actual on it for $13,500. Looks mint.
Closed up and left Carlisle after Saturday. Big show with much stuff. Spent a bundle with DeWitts. They really worked with you with multiple purchases.
Looked into the Auto Auction a little. I was told it costs $200 to be a bidder and a $300 something to put a car in it. Not many semed to meet reserve. No matter the promoter makes a bundle.
Just a guess, maybe 50 Vettes in the car corral for sale. Worse a kobbled up 63 the best (not for sale I don't think,) was a 54 I believe, at Al Knock's display.
Interesting to watch them recover seats in what seemed to be very short order.
I strained my back Wednesday and cold not make it...BUT my son picked up the few parts I needed...as well as parts for his 68 SS 396 Chevelle that is Finally in the paint shop after close to 10 years undergoing a transformation from a project car..
Anyway I find Corvette parts sell for much less at spring and Fall then they do at the Corvette show...
I was suprized how much Vette stuff was there. If someone needed cores to send for rebuilding, there was everything from headlights to trailing arms. There in large amounts. I didn't price the stuff, but there were enough vendors with the same stuff I feel sure the prices were right.
Corvette stuff, looks like corvette stuff. If one owns one they should be up on what it looks like. If I had time to take pics and post them I would. I was more interested in selling my stuff.
Just letting folks know there were some deals to be had this weekend. I got a great deal from DeWitts on Saturday for three radiators.
