'73 wheels
Did the '73 come with 15x7 or 15x8 wheels? If the tires are still on the rims, how can I tell what size are they? Any type of code or stamping? The owner thinks they came off a camaro. He is not sure. Any hints or ways to measure or tell? Thanks

15x8, size is stamped on the inside of the wheel.
No need to remove tires, simply unmount the wheel and clean off the dirt build up on the inside.

Near the valve stem is a date code:
K 1 3 4 (Valve Stem) 12 A Z
Where K = Kelsey, 1 = chevy, 3 = year, 4 = month, 12=day of month, and A Z is the code for 73 corvette wheel. So if AZ then you have the correct wheel. Post the code and someone here should be able to tell you what you have.
