Default Assistance HEI Leads

Hey Lad's,

I've bought a HEI distributor for my 69 corvette and want to keep the same look/leads run through covers as original i.e. refer to photo's

I know I'll need to get 90 degree style both end leads, to suit male (spark plug type ends) however has anyone found a kit that is off the shelf that would suit ?

Make them yourself.
I don't think anyone's pre-made cables are long enough, but don't take that as gospel.
Perhaps order a set and compare lengths??
If you find some, lemme know...

If you want the 90-deg ends AND new spark plug wires, try getting a set for a SB 75 or later engine.

What I see in your pictures are the iginition shields and not a HEI distributor. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong area?

Best bet is to get a set of wires for a 75 and get the 75 distributor top shield too.

if I remember right they started hei in mid 74 and made it official in 75, some of the big cars had the wires running under the manifolds and may work, my thinking was a big block hei wires. I dont quite remember though, a a small block hei would probably work also. CRS
