Well really not a battery tester, but will show open terminal battery voltage at no load. Decent indicator on a fully charged battery sitting overnight, as should be about 12.8 volts. Most shops use load, or conductance testers though, and some of these can be big bucks.

A multimeter is very useful for many things, but a load tester will tell you if the battery is failing.
