Default body mount bolts

im putting my 75 body back on the chassis and need to know the bolt lengths for each mount,or are they all the same.i had to cut them all off and am using the poly body mounts.is there a difference as opposed to using the rubber mounts.i dont want to buy a bolt kit because i have all the free bolts i can use at work.

Poly and rubber should be the same height. This is one of the rare cases where I'd suggest getting the correct bolts - you want a smooth shank in the bushing area, and the factory-style bolts have a flare under the hex head to help spread the load.

Same length bolts all around. I reused some of my originals on my poly mounts. The poly mounts have a metal sleve so I don't know if it would make a difference if the bolt had threads in that area. You could use a flat washer to spread the load. It's your call.

Just replaced all of mine with 3" grade 8 bolts from Rural King. Buy it by the pound.
