So I ordered a 3 hole firewall grommet to replace the grommet that the vacuum hoses pass through for the Hvac system and it turned out to be the one for the headlight's vacuum hoses. I didnt realize that they were different sizes. So my problem is I cant seem to find this grommet and it has to be replaced. The car is a 79. Any info would be great. Thanks!
I assume the grommet you need is the one in the picture below with Green, Black and White hoses running through it. I hate to say it but it was actually made to the hoses before installation and it is not sold separately or available.
I may have a used one.. Actually I'm sure I have a good used one if this is indeed what you need. You'll have to give Norm or Tommy a call tomorrow.. 812-288-7103... and when I come in I'll double check and have one of them call you back. I will not be in until late noon.

That is what I need!! I ordered the vacuum Hvac kit through you and 2 of the grommets that ended up being for the headlights. The only issue I see is that the new hoses are so much bigger around than what passes through one of those. So do you just slide the new hose over the old ones at the grommet?
two ways.. You can cut the hose and attach it to a used grommet, or you can take a used grommet, remove the old hose sections, enlarge the holes and then feed the new one through.
I'm not sure if you called or not, I was detained Thursday and Friday but I do have a grommet. I did check that. I'll talk to Norm and Tommy on Monday when I arrive.
