Mine was an exact copy - - laid the old grimy one over the new one to make the holes, then refinished the discs after cleaning and painting the underside of the hood and rebuilding the cowl door.
Check with your chevy dealer. I just got a NOS last year from my local dealer. He ordered it from another dealer in California. I had to pay extra for the shipping but I got a new original under hood insulation from GM. I also got a new GM rag joint from my local dealer.

Easy and inexpensive clean up.
Where did you get the exact copy and does it have all the correct indents?
