I am considering either black/red or all red seat vinyl covers from Iggee for my 1980. The general consensus from the other forums is that they look good and wear well and are very easy to put on. Of course the flip side is that they are not a reupholstry and produce a smooth vice paneled inset. Does anyone have experience with them? I'm really looking for a thumbs up or down from those who have purchased.
I used Iggee seat covers on a 87 Coupe. They were excellent quality, looked great. The company was quick in shipping and the price was really attractive. The 87 Coupe was painted Corvette Competition Yellow. The Iggee yellow inserts were a perfect match for the paint. My vote is YES if your looking for a affordable seat cover.
I have them on my '76 for 2 years now. Still looking good with 5000+ miles of use. As stated the company was great to deal with, fast shipping and great price. No one has been able to tell they are covers, everyone thought I had them recovered.
I lost my hard drive this past winter. These are the only seat pictures of the Iggee's in my 87. Not the best in the west, but you get the idea. I will probably use the same Iggee's/same color combo in my 73 when the body off resto is done.
These at least 2 years old and holding up great. The drivers seat has a bit of a loose area on the bottom cover but nothing major. For the price you can't go wrong. The do fit very snug when installing and haven't loosened up.

8valve and palmbeachvette76 thanks for the photos!
palmbeachvette76: the '76 I'm working on is black with a firethorn red interior, looks like you had something similar. I'm trying to break up all that red. Just started today to replace the driver's side floor pan and took the carpet out - thinking of changing the carpet to black.
I was neutral on whether to go back red or all red. However, my wife (exercising her 51% share of the marital stock) thinks the two tone is the way to go. It looks like it is a reputable company and you get a good product. I'll be ordering this week.
Thanks so much to both you gents. This forum rocks for questions like this.

Glad to have been of help. Before you order, go to the Iggee web site www.iggee.com
Surf thru till you fid your year Vette. Be sure there is only one seat style so you order the proper seat covers. On the yellow 87 I posted, there were different seats available.
Then go to www.seatbeltsolutions.com send them your old seat belts and have them put RED belts on the retractors and hardware. They will really dress it up as I feel the yellow belts in my 87 did. Plus, they rebuild and test the belts to be sure they properly lock.
