Radio Short. Headlight Short as well.
Hey guys, seems like I have a couple of shorts in my electrical, sometimes the radio works(aftermarket) and then sometimes it doesn't...well it never does any more. Also my headlight have a short somewhere...my HIGH beams will just come on randomly, and then I can't turn them off...
Just wondering if you guys have any quick ideas. Yes I have checked the fuses. The other day I was very close to taking my entire dash out...but I refuse to dive into any major projects right away...just trying to enjoy it how it is.

"Shorts" blow fuses, "Intermittent" connections make things sometimes not work, "Open" connections prevent things from working at all.
That said, what year? Headlight switch on the column or the floor?
There isd not much to the headlight bright/dim system. There is a switch that connects 12v to either the high or low beams. Most likely fault is the switch. Radio is aftermarket, if you didn't instal it Bubba probably did and left a ratty connection in there somewhere behind the center dash.
