I finally got an opportunity to take the car out of storage last night.

After a brief check for fluids and critter infiltration, it fired right up like the nasty old dragon that it is.

I took a 15 mile ride home with the T Tops off and left my girlfriend in the dust who was following in my Lincoln.

It's nice to have it back.

Any tips on removing moth ball stink? The dryer sheets worked fine, but the smell of moth ***** from previous years is pretty ripe still.

All you need is air and time to get rid of the moth ball smell.

I took the tops off, dropped the windows, and went for a nice long fresh air cruise

Q: If you have a moth ball in one hand - and a moth ball in the other - what do you have?

A: The biggest moth I ever saw!

One trick that works well for lots of smells is those carbon smell removers like you would put in a closet etc. Just leave one (or two) in your car. Works fantastic. Mothball smell should go away with fresh air as well.

FYI - the smell of mothballs is actually toxic if you're continually breathing it. They are a pesticide and produce toxic fumes.
