Looks like you just drove it out of a 1978 showroom. Awesome!

Sweet!! The windshield trim paint peeling was bad that year and also in 79 so dont sweat it, touch it up when you get a chance.

Actually, on this side of the forum, the '78 is your first Vette... everything else comes in second place!! Good looking ride. Love the 78 SA paint.

All I see are red "x"s. This has happened before. How 'bout a 'puter expert chiming in here and tell me how to see the pics? Thanks, Bill

Looks beautiful! I have a 68 and 73 and want to add either a 78 SA or 81-82 (silver like AGVI) to the collection. Early and late model C3s are my favorite. The only thing I'd want a C6 for is to take out the LS and put it in a C3

Tell me why you love it more than the C6. Or just as much. I am intrigued. I was thinking of going C3 to C6.

Yeah got pretty luck with that purchase. The previous owner has put some time, money and passion to keep and restore over the years. It's got all new suspension, exhausts (flowmaster), all new brakes. The paint has some spots to be fixed, but nothing bad. Interior has to be redone though, time has taken it's toll. Any suggestions on that?

Nothing on common, I wouldn't go C3 to C6, both are keepers. C6 is a pure racing machine that gives you power, stability, racing thrills, where the C3 is just awesome by being itself It doesn't need to go that fast, to break necks and get chicks horny. Even my wife, that usually gives me silence for weeks after I buy a new car, loves it and the first morning I bought it, I woke up to her washing the car with her special nasty car-wash clothes ahaha

So comparison is not really possible there, both are great cars and both deserve respect in their own way.

One thing though, but this is quite likely irrelevant for the US, here (Bulgaria) in the C6 usually people consider such cars a bit mafia, and whilst they do like the car, I can feel they are not thinking the nicest of me Whilst with the C3 it's always a pleasure and always brings a smile on a persons face, can I can't take off mine That is one big difference. But that's I suppose relevant to poorer countries, especially in europe where vettes are a rarity anyway.

Anyways, don't sell your C3, you'll regret it. If you can get a C6 and keep the C3, it's the way to go.

And a photo of the two babes being taken care of

I got the same thing but can see pics on other threads.

Anyway, congrats on the new "to you" Vette. I'll bet it's a beauty based on the comments.

Tutin, was the seller in Bulgaria too or did you have to import it from another country?

Came overseas from the US, Florida. This is the first '78 anniversary vette in Bulgaria and I think just about the 5th in total for all C3s here.

I don't know why, I guess it's browser related. I suppose the only specific is about the way it's hosted on our club forum.

I'm in the same boat!

06-C6, and 82 CE! Love them both for different reasons!

Zdrasti Tutin,
Love both of them and indeed the 78 looks like it was in a time capsul for the last 34 years!
Bet you need to be carefull on some of the roads in and around town (I always avoid cobble Stoneroads )
