For the 68-72 market in general i would say not really.BUT the L88,LS6,ZR1-LT-1,the prices are strong and rising. What surprises me is how soft the 68-69 427/435 and 70-72 454 prices are.
I still can't understand that!, a plain jane, NOM '67-'73 Camaro would sell for as much as a numbers matching big block Corvette, while GM produced Camaros 5 times as much as Corvettes!

I was at Indy and in fact drove my friends L88 of the block. It is a tremendous car. I was hoping it would sell for more than the 625k that the silver car brought at Russo Steele but with auctions, you never know. I agree in that the prices for 68/9 435s seem really soft. There was one exception however, the red/red 68 435 convertible that was a 4 stat bowtie car sold for 157K plus fees.
Jerry, I really don't know much about the green L88. I overheard Kevin McKay and Terry Michealis say that they were not familiar with it which seemed to hurt the price of it. I would bet it had a restamped motor plus being green didn't help it either. It looked to be in great shape but I never got a great look at it. With trying to see hundreds of cars in a few hours, I never got to see anything in great detail. I am going to have to spend more time there next year.
I can see prices rise. The 68-72 prices seem to be very good deals right now and in the next couple of years probably one of the last chances you'll get to own the last of the chrome Bumper Vettes. Last of the Big Block & High winding small blocks.
