Default clutch size?

How do I know whether I have a 10.4" or 11" clutch without removing first?
I have a 1969 350/350 4 spd

Unless someone has been in there and changed it you should have an 11 inch clutch in there. The 350/350 used and 11 inch clutch.

And... if the transmission is correct to the car, the clutch disc will have a 26-spline hub, not the 10-spline.

Interesting...
My 350/350 L-36 69' Coupe had a 10-Spline M-21 and the 153 tooth flywheel with the 10.5" clutch? The M-21 is number matching to my car.

I don't think the 26 spline input shafts were used until 70 on up (unless you have a rare M22) but I'm not 100% sure.

Can you tell if your starter bolts are in a straight line across from each other (parallel to the back of the block) or are they staggered?
If they are parallel, it's a 153 tooth flywheel with the 10.5" clutch.
If they are staggered, it's a 168 tooth flywheel and *should* have the 11" clutch but may have the 10.5" if someone replaced it with a smaller one previously (most 168 tooth flywheels will accept either).

My bad. I stand corrected if the 26-spline input was not available in the C3 before 1970.

That is why I trust CF to keep me on the straight and narrow.

Thanks, everybody! They are staggered, so 11" it is, as I suspected. CF to the rescue again!
