Looking at a 76 stingray that has bout a haft to 3/4 inch gap between the windows and the Top. Windows are all the way up. Any ideas why this is happening. Weather stripping doesnt look that bad.
try Willcox corvette parts, or corvette fever,on the web sites, they have a lot of how-to articles. Also the AIM has how-to from the factory specs. It sounds like the top stops are off, you can take the door panel off and look to see if the adjustment has been changed , mark all the bolt locations before changing anything or take pictures to reference to later on when you need to see where it was to begin with. Also Mid-Americ motorworks has a great picture of the door parts break down. If you have a fax, I could fax the pages to you, also the Aim pages. You can them for a catalog @800-500-1500

2019 C3 of Year Finalist (appearance mods)
Too many possibilities...
Could be that the "UP" stops are out of adjustment.
Or the gear is worn out at the top
or some of the rollers are bad
or the regulator is bad
or the weatherstripping is binding, will the window go all the way up if the door is open?
You have to look inside and see whats good or not.
Power windows or crank?
