Ive been thinking about getting some stripes for the side of the good scoop. Let's see what stripes you guys have!
Man, everybody wants to put stripes on the good scoop, but nobody cares about the bad scoop......it's not the scoops fault that it's bad, that's just how it was made........
those aren't stripes, they are spears and they are on the cold air induction hood. They came on the 78 silver anniversary edition. Yes, they are very cool
If you want real stripes, just google Research In Motion who did paint jobs if memory serves of a stripe down the center of the hood, over the top then a wide stripe around the rear end of the late 60 models with the flared, flat rear ends which I really like. Should be able to find them on google images pretty quickly.
Here's a pic of mine shortly after I installed them.
I had a real buggar of a time lining them up.
Ended up using string lines to get them right.

I have seen them on eBay recently. I want to say they were $45.
