I have an "american lift" two post 11,000 pound that works very well, Not difficult to install as long as you have the concrete to hold it. I think it was 5 inches of 2,000 psi or four of 5,000 psi was recomended. It's somewhat adjustable for height. My building is 14 feet at the peak but I think 12 at the corners of the lift. It will adjust shorter a little.
Here are some photos of our lift. We love it. Extra wide extra tall. Don't skimp out on size, but also don't over pay for a name. We have picked up 28' boats as well as golf carts on this lift. I especially like the ability to pick up and be supported by either the frame or tires. We bought from Greg smith equipment Good luck Al
My older brother had a great shop in Santa Cruz, CA. Comprehensive Mechanics. They used Rotary's; man were they nice! On another note, there are usually a couple to be found locally on Craigslist. http://comprehensivemechanics.com/
