intermittent wiper pulse module......

engine shut down this AM on the way to work, lost everything, lights, horn, wipers, power, etc. just made it to the side of the road, had to get towed home......
determined that the wiper pulse module must have shorted out when we reattached it in the rear compartment. drained the battery completely down. had the alternator checked out and it is good. recharged the battery and disconnected the module, hopefully no more problems. don't have wipers at the moment, and every vendor contacted does not have a single one in stock. seems like they were recalled a few months ago from the manufacture as they were defective, and on top of that there are orders for them like you wouldn't believe.

thanks for the update. at the time I felt it was the wiper module that was causing my problem, not only was it that, but also the alternator did turn out to be bad. I did not have Version 1, just the original.....thanks againhttp://willcoxcorvette.com/product_i...ducts_id=27646
