The club went to a show this weekend and I joined them. IT was the first time I had a car IN a show. No prizes or judging but a chance to show off the car for a good cause. Pamlico County was hit hard last year my Hurricane Irene and they were holding a Jobs and Services fair so they asked us to come out hoping we could draw in the locals.
Thanks everyone. Have another show in 2 weeks....time to work on getting rid of the 37 yr old wax in the vents... what a pain. I have been working myself to death with detailer spray and a toothbrush trying to get it out. I think I am going to have to carefully pull the vents and soak them.
Its about 99% factory original. The only parts that have been changed out are:
1) both bumper covers (however the letters on the back are the original)
2) all 4 calipers
3) Front brake flex lines
4) fuel filter
5) tach filter
6) tach circuit board
7) carb gaskets
8) tires
Its sitting on 6,678 original miles at the moment.
Thanks, I am thinking of taking her to Bloomington for survivor status. I kept the hood closed as I have some paint chipping under the hood. Not really sure how that would effect me on the judging.
