1982 Motor died while driving
Today, was driving my original 60,000 mile 1982 which has been running very nice and all of a sudden, the engine died. Pulled over and could not get it started again. The starter was cranking the engine but it did not start! Had to get it towed home. Felt like I ran out of gas, still 3/4 of a thank left.
I have not started looking at it yet but I hear that the TB has a fuse.
Any suggestions?

It has two fuses, one for each TB and a fuse for the fuel pump which is located at the very top of the fuse box. Pain to get to. The pump it self could have died, turn you key to the on position and you should hear the pump prime for a second and see a quick squirt of fuel into the throttle plate. If not maybe the ignition modual died??
