Default rear end noise

Hi guys. haven't posted in a while, but i need help from some of the pros here.
I have a 73 with a 4 speed that make a rubbing noise , from rear when turning right. more audible when turning right at high speed like an off ramp. It doesn't do it all the time, only after it's been driven for at least 20 miles. Actually once coming off a highway at 40 mph it go so bad that ,i had to pull over right away. going straight it's ok. you let it sit for a couple of days then it's ok as well.
I took it to a mechanic but no noise when he drove it. Everything is tight and looks good . all the wheel bearing and the rear parking brakes are all good. oil level is good as well.

Any suggestions !!!

If you're sure the wheel bearings are OK I would dump the rear end fluid and replace it with 80/90 weight gear oil and one 4 oz bottle of GM posi lube. Then go do some figure 8's in a parking lot to work the lube into the clutches.

There's no drain plug so i guess the cover plate has to come off to drain and do i need a new gasket for that ?

Easier to buy some type of suction device to suck the fluid out of the differential.

NO!!! You don't have to take the cover off. Big job. Remove the diff fill plug, get a suction device from an auto parts store, and suck it out.
