They give it a little more modern look, maybe a little race-car like, and that is popular these days, but the stock wheels are hard to beat IMO.

I have to admit that I am not a fan of dark/black wheels, but they really look good on your 80 - very sharp and gives it an aggressive attitude, I likely!

I have to admit that I like it. I'm kind of an old fashion/original type person. I like the rims/wheels but the tires not so much. They are for looks and not very functional for America's sports car. You know burn outs etc. The wheels could never be as strong as the originals. I know the 80 Vette's are under powered as is my 81. Are Corvette's supposed to at least give the appearance that they are go fast?
It does looks very good but I wouldn't be doing burn outs with those wheels and tires.
