Alternator brackets ?
Im trying to find a alternator bracket sleeve for my 77 and cant track one down anywhere ? I Cant get the alternator back together with out it.
I have called all the big parts houses and cant find one. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.. Im trying to get the car fixed so I can take it on a trip this upcoming friday......
I tried an aftermarket bracket from summit and that didnt work because of the power steering ... so Im up for suggestions.....

Does 'sleeve' equate to round pipe or tube? Get the proper diameter from any hardware store and hacksaw it to length. That's about the fastest way to solve your problem until you can locate the OEM part.
