Can these be bought without the baffles and if not are the inserts that come with them welded in? I'd like to get a set without so I can choose my own. I tried calling them but no answer and I cant find an email address to ask them.
Yeah, I got them without baffles. They weren't specific on what type of baffles were used, but I saw one reference to reverse flow. I'm planning on ordering 4 auger insert.
I didn't hear back from OBX either. If you look on their site, you have to go through a distributor. Is got them from Racing Parts Depot.

I called them today (after I posted the question) and they told me I could not get them without baffles?
Another thread mentioned 1" allen head bolts. The supposed need for the allen head is that the big primary tubes leave little room for the bolt head. I can't find them on Summit's site, so I'll see if I can get them from a hardware store.
My shop was trying to call these guys for a couple days, OBX sucks at answering their phone. There are some known fitment issues with their headers, since they are made in China. But most people manage to get them on with only some minor finagling.
You really can't beat the price of this if you're looking for side pipes in stainless steel vs chrome. Very tempting to pull the trigger, they've been out of stock for awhile.
The only fitment issue I've heard of was clearance of the clutch z-bar which is not an issue for me. And I don't expect ANY aftermarket exhaust to drop right in.
And yes, they have been out of stock for a while. I've just dropped in my motor and trans, and I've been checking varius vendors and ebay like 5 times a day waiting for these to pop up. I can't start my engine without any exhaust! And I knew if I got anything else, I would be repainting them in a couple of years and I would kick myself for not waiting for the stainless.
