Default Wheel lug nuts help.

Hi all,

I need a bit of help, i need to change my lug nuts as most of them do not match and have lost most of their chrome and cannot find out what they are!

I know they are not stock corvette nuts but cannot source a replacement.

Here is a crappy cell phone pic (sorry)

As you can see the nut has a built in washer that has an angle in it, it is 40mm long.

Here is a pic of the wheel it goes in. (crappy old pic to, sorry)

Any help would be welcome.

I can't identify the wheel or lugnuts but would suggest you take one to a local auto parts store to see if they can match it with something in stock.

I have an older(non Vette) car using ET Unilug wheels, with lugnuts similar to yours. Although a few years back, found some exact replacements from the Gorilla lug nut site. Maybe worth checking into.

hanks, i have the stock lugs.

Unfortunately this website doesn't have anything that matches!
I need a tapered seat, but i need the nut to be 1.7" long and have the taper at 1" from the beginning of the thread...
Basically an extended mag but with a taper:

how can it be so hard to find nuts like that?

Are you sure the flat washer isn't just distorted?
I have seen lots of those, but never any with a shank and taper. That would defeat the purpose.

Perhaps post a better pic or one of the wheel seats.

sorry, i don't have one and don't have acces to the car right now.

The washer is definitely at a 60 degree angle, there is no way it could have been distorted so much! The wheel seat matches that...

Apparently the wheels could be western turbines, maybe i can use something else with them.

These are combo for ET wheels but the shank isn't that long.
Shank diameter may be different.

Have had lots of Western wheels, I think they were regular shank mag nuts.

If yours truly do have a proper 60° seat, then a conical nut will work as long as your studs are long enough.

I saw those but they only have .25" before the tapered bit, mine have 1" going in before the taper.
Isn't that going to be a problem?

The only thing I've seen that looked something like that was metric.
Any chance yours where changed since your "over there"?

There's a company called Otis co or Otis inc or something like that. They make lug nuts for European cars. Like Gorilla for Europe
