Accelerator Cable question
It seems to have failed because the spring lost its springiness and it became a little too hard (also probably because I shortened it to get the correct idle speed) to press the accelerator.
Havn't got a chance to get in under the dash yet, my cable failed when I was putting the car back into the shed (which is 120 miles from me)
What is common failure? Is it the grommet or the little lump at the end of the cable?
As for a new spring? It has a holly carb (summits own brand 750 cfm with manual secondaries) and an edlebrock performer intake.
I'm thinking of the double spring. Would a universal one from summit suit?
